🌀 Climate Change: Hurricane Daniel Strikes the Middle East 🌍

In my recent interview on Bloomberg, I had the opportunity to discuss the alarming impact of climate change on the Middle East, particularly in light of the recent devastating Hurricane Daniel.

With over 2,000 casualties and 6,000 people still missing, the numbers are staggering. Hurricane Daniel’s unexpected intensity in Libya is a grim reminder of the changing climate’s impact on our region.

While hurricanes traditionally form in tropical regions, the Middle East has witnessed a surge in their frequency and strength, primarily attributed to rising temperatures and increased humidity. This is a stark warning that climate change knows no boundaries and affects us all.

I emphasized the urgent need for proactive measures to mitigate these effects and protect our communities. Climate change is not a distant threat—it’s here, and we must act decisively. Let’s work together for a sustainable and resilient future. 🌊🏡

تغير المناخ: إعصار دانيال يضرب الشرق الأوسط

في مقابلتي الأخيرة على بلومبرغ، كان لدي الفرصة لمناقشة التأثير المقلق لتغير المناخ على الشرق الأوسط، ولا سيما في ضوء إعصار دانيال المدمر الأخير.
